GSM Activation Process
PART - 1 - Activating the GSM in NAPCO
Ideally, you will know in advance that we need to schedule and activate a GSM installation.
Login to NAPCO: https://www.napcocomnet.com/instance1EnvMMLogin/html/login.html
Go to Device Management > Add Account > Service Plans
Enter the 8 digits Radio ID and click the GO button
Choose (NFPA 2010 MAX 5M Commercial Fire Dual Path Svc Plan 16.95 EA)
Hit (Click for Details)
6. Click the Add button
7. Click New button and enter the customer’s information. All customer’s information can be found in Service Titan. No need to enter the email and phone number. Just the First and Last Name, Address, City, State and ZIP code. Then Click “Add Subscriber“ button.
8. Click “Add To Cart“ button, Close the review order window that will appear and Click the “Checkout“ button and “Continue“ button. All CC information are already saved. Then click the “Submit Order“ button. And the GSM is activated.
PART - 2 - Activating the Account Number
1. Login to BoldNet: https://neo.centragroup.net/manitou/Login
2. Go to “Active“ customers and check for the missing hierarchy number.
Example:
Example above shows you the 5220-1109, 5220-1111, 5200-1113, and 5200-1114 are available.
3. Fill-out the sheet or tracker in monday.com under (Fire & Security (Angie)/Monitoring) and enter those available number. You can pre-add at least 3-5 available account numbers from BoldNet so you already have one available ready when you need it in your future activation.
Example:
4. Enter the name of the customer for the new account and follow all the check-list and mark it (Working on it/Done) or whatever relevant status that may apply.
5. Now that we have the account number assigned to the new customer, we have to activate that account by sending a document to Centra.
6. Go to the server \\me-cloud\ME-companies - Documents\Markarian Alarms\MA Customer Files, triple check if there’s already an existing folder with the same name of the customer. If none, then you can go ahead and create a new folder.
7. Open the \\me-cloud\ME-companies - Documents\Markarian Alarms\New Account Doc Templates and look for the 2 documents (ME Data Entry Form & Centra Alarm monitoring Service Agreement)
8. These 2 documents needs to be filled out and to be emailed at the same time to the central station in a PDF format. Email it to “inputting@centragroup.net“.
Update as of October 21, 202
Note:
For the Default Area it should only be CID or SIA.
CID - Fire Alarm Monitoring Only
SID - Security and Alarm Monitoring
9. When sending the Data Entry and Service Agreement to Centra, just note that the “Signed Contract is on its way“. Then just process and send the document to the client/contact via docusign and you can just forward this later on to Centra as soon as it has been signed by the client.
10. Don’t forget to update the “Monitoring“ tracker in Monday.com.
11. Update Service Titan. (Customer & Location)
12. Click the “BILL TO“ section to update the customer’s details.
13. Click “Tags“
14. Scroll down to the “Account#“ and enter their account number.
15. Scroll down to the “Type Of System“ and enter what type of system they have. Then don’t forget to click the SAVE button on the lower right of your screen to save all the changes.
16. And do the same exact thing for the Location.
17. Quickbooks - This is how we bill the customer. But since we don’t have access to quickbooks, all we need to do is to reach out to Michelle.
* Inform her that you just activated a new monitoring account. Provide “The Address“ and “The Account Number“ and say that they need to be put in Quickbooks and billed.
18. PO In - We purchased a material that cost us money just like the “StarLink“ radio. The Starlink radio on this sample was purchased by Angie so she know where did she purchased this and how much it cost. This needs to be entered on the customer’s account in service titan so we can bill the customer.
- Go to Invoices.
- Look for the BIG money maker. Just like the sample below (66479223) and click on it.
- Scroll down and look for “Add a purchase order“
